Oh really.? So when did u start teaching there? and did u want to move? I actually went to East Union my freshman year, i really enjoyed being there!
Yeah actually since months ago i was supposed to contact you and Mrs. Tovar through email para saludarlos, but then se me paso, because i noticed it was manteca.edu, or something different..?
Take care, Lupita!
Are you happy with me now?
Que tal como estas? I probably shouldn't write too much in Spanish because you will make fun of me. Well I have just begun another semester. Hopefully I am out in one year, BUT i want to go to graduate school and study aerospace engineering. How have you been? Ya tienes nuevo miembro en la familia?
Saludos,
Javier
I remember when I was a new CAMP Coordinator and you took the time to orient me that day at Sac State and then you later helped many of the migrants students that I had worked with from my hometown of Watsonville.
As you heard, CSUMB CAMP was not renewed in 2005. Even through, I was coordinator for just 18 months, it broke my corazon to not have CAMP re-authorized. I am now a TRIO director at Hartnell College and I run a retention program for first generation students. As you may guess, I outreach to migrant students and my program has many charactistics of a CAMP program.
Thank you for that day you gave me an orientation at Sac State in June 2004, it helped me to set a strong beginning for the 18 months of CAMP at CSUMB.
Con respeto,
Manuel
