DREAMers of the Week
This week's DREAMers of the week are all of Massachusetts' DREAM advocates. Their tireless efforts have yielded co-sponsorship by every member of the Massachusetts delegation!!! They are the first state to achieve this milestone. Congratulations to all of you, this is an amazing achievement and one that inspires us all to do the same in our home states.
Action for the Week
Currently, 91 Members of the House of Representatives have cosponsored the DREAM Act. Please continue to contact your Members of Congress; we must make every effort to replicate the achievement of Massachusetts in as many states as possible.
Click on your region for details on your state targets:
Northeast (Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont)
Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Kansas, South Dakota, and Wisconsin)
South (Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia)
West (Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington)
If your Member of Congress has already cosponsored, please reach out to allies in other districts to help us get the 218 yes votes we need to pass the DREAM Act this year!
